Venetian Golf and River Club
Early this morning, golfers in north Venice were already on the course at the Venetian Golf and River Club. The temperature was a very warm 82 at 7:30 am today so my guess is every golfer who was planning to play on this warm Sunday in June made plans for an early “tee time.” The Golf Club was just starting to see some activity as we passed this morning.
Passing the River Club, there was some tennis activity too. The Club House parking lot was pretty empty but by lunch time the courts and course will send hungry players to one of the two dining rooms in the Club or to the Grille at the Golf Club which was recently completed.
Home inventory is plentiful at the Sarasota golf course community. There are about 50 Venetian properties listed for sale in the Sarasota MLS. Prices range from the low $100,000s for maintenance free villas, all the way up to the $700,000’s for estate homes.
The amenities at the Venetian Golf and River Club are outstanding and include: championship golf, 2 heated pools including a lap pool, nature trail, restaurants, fitness center, 6 lighted clay tennis courts, and a canoe launch.
